I am a fully competent web professional that can plan, design, build and project manage. I have over 10 years experience in various industries including TV, Gaming, Mobile, and Financial sectors. I have an aptitude for business and a consumer oriented approach to my work.

Background

I first started working in IT as a Mainframe Operator back in 1991. I then progressed to a Desktop and Network Support Analyst in 1995. In 1999 I decided to alter my career path and persue Web Design which I continue to do to this day.

Music Experience

I have been interested in music since I was 10 years old. I have played the drums in various bands from Indie to Gospel and Rock. I have a keen interest in DJ'ing (Vinyl and CD) having played at various functions from parties to weddings, radios stations and youth events. Over the years I have produced dance records for independent record labels and I have also been involved in various high profile online music promotions.

Music Skills/Experience

Experienced in MIDI Sequencing and Digital Audio Processing: I can operate and engineer a full recording studio including mixers, samplers, 8-tracks, keyboards, sequencers and hard disk recording systems.

Training Music Production and Studio Management: I have worked part time for London Boroughs training young people new media, music production and music business in foyers.

Radio Productions and Promotions: I have produced and mastered records on 12 inch vinyl and successfully promoted them into record shops based around the UK. I have also produced adverts that have been played on regional radio stations.

Video Experience

I have live camera operation experience shooting various functions from weddings to conferences. This involves using a mixing console and a camera with dual monitors. We were equipped with headsets so that we could communicate and line up shots before crossfading live to our shot. Work involved setting up the camera equipment, secure cabling, white balancing the cameras and testing the whole setup before going live.

Video Skills/Experience

I can operate a broadcast camera and a video mixer plus various computer based mixing utilities. I am also aware of the different codecs that are available for video and which formats are best for which purpose.
